Every time a customer makes a purchase using this website, it is counted as a separate transaction.
Bathans Limited accepts credit card payments only for purchases through this website. You will be charged in New Zealand dollars (NZD). All prices are GST exclusive. GST is added in the payment in the shopping cart process.
Only customers older than 18 years of age can purchase using this website. Alcohol will NOT be delivered to minors. Evidence of age may be requested at the discretion of Bathans Limited. By completing your transaction on this website you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old. Accepted forms of ID include photo driver’s licence, passport, Kiwi AccessCard/HNZ 18+ card.
Anyone showing signs of intoxication upon delivery will not be supplied with their order.
Delivery is only in New Zealand. A delivery fee will be charged and this will be shown in the shopping cart process. Bathans aims to deliver goods within 7 working days, however, we cannot guarantee this during busy periods.
At the time of confirmation it is possible for the card holder to cancel the transaction, provided this is confirmed in writing to Bathans Limited via our email address(distillery@bathans.nz). The user is deemed to accept these Terms & Conditions including the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy by visiting this Website and/or purchasing our products via the Shop.

REFUND POLICY
Refund Policy
Bathans Limited will endeavour to replace any product that is not delivered in a less than acceptable condition. In most circumstances, this will be through broken bottles. Courier deliveries of products purchased on this website are insured in transit to your delivery address. In the unfortunate event that products you have ordered are damaged in transit or missing from the delivery, please get in touch with the team by email (distillery@bathans.nz) no later than three days after you have received our products. You will need to quote your order number and provide a copy of the receipt as well as photos of the damaged goods. If we are satisfied that your complaint is genuine, we will replace the product at no cost to you, the customer. If you would prefer to have your purchase refunded, we can only make a refund to the same person who made the purchase. You must be over 18 years old in order to receive a refund or exchange on our products. We work closely with our couriers to ensure all shipments arrive in a timely fashion. However, there may sometimes be delays outside of our control – if the timeframe in which you can expect to receive your orders changes, we’ll make sure to let you know on the Shipping + Delivery page, and also in your order confirmation email. If your order is already in transit, we’ll contact you directly to let you know. Your rights are outlined in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

We may collect limited personal information that personally identifies you (“PersonalInformation”) such as: your name, email address(es), postage and/or residential address, purchase history, date and place of purchase, company, website. If you communicate with us by e-mail, or complete our online form, any information provided in such communication maybe collected as Personal Information. Your personal information will be held by Bathans Limited.
Why do we collect personal information?
Personal information is collected automatically through the Bathans shop when you purchase from our website. It is collected for us to provide products to you and deliver our product to you in a timely manner. We will not use your information in ways that are not consented by you unless we are ordered to do so by a New Zealand court or government authority acting under statute. We will protect your information and not share, sell, rent or disclose any personal information other than as described within this policy. The information we collect from you is to enable us to get our products to you as quickly as possible and to process purchases. We may communicate with you from time to time about new products.

We may disclose your personal information to our staff, for the efficient operation of our business, and for the specific purpose of fulfilling requests by you, and to provide products and services to you, and where we are required to do so under the Privacy Act. We do not provide your personal information to other organisations for the purposes of direct marketing. We will only send Personal Information to third party organisations (including government agencies, departments etc, under statutory duty) when we need to share your information in order to provide the product or service you have requested (e.g. postal services), or we are required by law to disclose the information. Breach of Privacy
If you believe that your privacy has been breached by us, or have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy, please contact us using the contact information provided on our website, along with all details of the incident so that we can investigate it. Any complaint should be made in writing in order for us to investigate it. We may ask you for further information if necessary.
STORE LICENCE
As per the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, we do the following to meet our requirements relating to remote sales of alcohol: The licence holder’s name, licence number and licence expiry date are displayed here as well as on any receipt issued for a remote sale. A legible image of our licence is displayed on this internet site used to sell alcohol. We take reasonable steps to verify that the buyer and the receiver of any alcohol sold are 18 years old or over, by requiring anyone entering our site to tick an on screen box to confirm that they are over 18 years of age. The courier driver may ask the receiver to produce ID to verify their age.
